We offer seasonal RESTORE Birth retreats on Whidbey Island.

We also offer in person workshops, online trainings

and live zoom gatherings.

nervous system education, birth as rite of passage,

communication skills, hormonal blueprint and systems thinking.

Approved for 10 contact hours by the American Holistic Nurses Association

About Us

Meg Heather Ford has been working in the realm of women's health for 20 years, initially as an acupuncturist in the UK and for the past 12 years as a birth doula supporting over 400 families in homes, birth centers and hospitals. She is further trained in Hakomi somatic psychotherapy and facilitates retreats and trainings for birth professionals as a co-founder of Council for Birth. 

Kelly Dungan is a registered nurse, Spinning Babies® Approved Trainer and Certified Professional Midwife. She feels passionately about teaching and trusting the rich world of physiologic birth, centering community care for her clients and  facilitating retreats and trainings for birth professionals as a co-founder of Council for Birth.
